The role

We are seeking for enthusiastic junior bioinformatician/computational biologist for a 9-month internship to join the Bioinformatics Unit team at our Porto site. As an Intern you will develop bioinformatic pipelines and perform data analysis to support the discovery, engineering, and characterisation of antibody panels. Interns are required to conclude the program by giving a formal presentation. Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

• Develop bioinformatics pipelines.
• Analyse and interpret data and prepare reports.
• Work following the company standard operating procedures and documentation.

Your profile

FairJourney Biologics is seeking for Intern, with the following characteristics:

• You have B.S. or M.S. degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, computational
modelling, computer science, or similar.
• You have programming skills (e.g., R, Python) and experience on using Linux.
• You have knowledge of bioinformatics or modelling.
• You have knowledge of B cells and antibody biology.
• You have a collaborative mindset, you are open to give and receive ideas, perspectives,
and feedback.
• You have an excellent command of the English language both written and spoken.
